We do like to party and this week was a great week for serious fun performances. We payed a jazz function at the Establishment on Tues, then Friday, Sat and Sunday were the complete polar opposite. Friday was the usual fun @ the Bavarian. Sat we played after the Rosehill races straight across the road @ Rydges. You have to come see us if you missed it. There were about 1500 party goers ready to explode when we took the stage. We truly blitzed it as a trio! Checkout the cheeky pic I snapped from stage of a portion of the crowd while slinging a guitar in the pics at the bottom!
Sunday was mind blowing at the Orient in the Rocks. We were so exhausted that I’m still getting over it just in time for another gig today. About 40 ladies from a party came in & carved their way to the front & danced non-stop for 4 hrs straight. We segued one song to the next to keep them going. My mind was reeling at 1000mph trying to pick the next song before we finished the each song. I love that challenge of think “how will I get into the next one without stopping”? I dig gigs like this when the vibe is just cooking and the band is on! The Guys were on fire, Artie was his usual crazy self eating it up and belting his bass like a mad man, check him out standing on it during his solo in pics below!
I’ll get some of the video up in the next post for you.
Cheers
